DRIVER INJURED IN RACE
Excelsior Springs Man in a Crash at Olympic Stadium
Harrel Heavelow, 39 years old, Excelsor Springs, was injured last night when the motor car he was driving overturned in the first lap of a 35-lap race atOlympic Stadium. He suffered head injuries and was in serious condition this morning at Research Hospital.
The mishap occurred about 9:30 o'clock. Heavelow's car climbed a 12-foot fence on the south side of the track, about halfway through the lap , and fell back to the track on its top.
